Following the shift from machine-readable passports to electronic passports on 23 October 2026, the Pakistan Embassy in Bangkok launched a fresh fee schedule.
The updated rates apply to both urgent and regular processing tracks across various page counts and validity lengths. Taking effect on 23 October 2026, the new pricing also establishes replacement costs for missing documents.
Normal processing for a 36-page, five-year e-passport is 1,500 Thai baht, while urgent processing costs 2,400 baht. A 10-year version of the same page count requires a fee of 2,200 baht for standard service and 3,500 baht for urgent service.
Standard processing for a 72-page, five-year e-passport costs 2,600 baht, and urgent processing is priced at 4,100 baht. Meanwhile, a 10-year, 72-page document costs 3,800 baht for normal processing and 6,000 baht for urgent processing.

The diplomatic mission additionally published increased rates for replacing missing travel documents. Replacing a first lost passport incurs charges between 3,000 and 12,000 baht, governed by the processing speed, page count, and validity duration. For a second missing passport, prices span from 6,000 to 24,000 baht.
Rules dictate that replacing a third or fourth lost passport depends on applicable regulations and demands clearance from the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports headquarters located in Islamabad.
