Internal evaluations show that Samsung's unreleased Exynos 2700 processor has beaten Qualcomm's newest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 hardware. The processor will likely drive certain variants within the Galaxy S27 lineup, which should debut during early 2027. Recent information indicates the Exynos 2700 produced up to 44% higher multi-core CPU results than the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 alongside superior graphics output.

Exynos 2700 vs Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6

Samsung reportedly evaluated the Exynos 2700 against the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 featured inside the Xiaomi 18 Pro Max. During Geekbench 6.5 multi-core evaluations, the Exynos 2700 reached about 13,000 points, while Qualcomm's hardware hit near 11,000 points. This gives Samsung's upcoming processor a performance edge of nearly 20%. The Exynos 2700 also reportedly achieved 15% higher results in Geekbench 7.0.

The gap grew wider when compared against the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 found in the Xiaomi 18 Pro. Samsung's processor reportedly provided 44% better output during Geekbench 6.5 and 36% higher results during Geekbench 7.0. These numbers stem from reported internal evaluations instead of independent benchmarks.

Better Gaming Performance

The Exynos 2700 also reportedly surpassed Qualcomm's flagship processor during graphics evaluations. Based on the report, Samsung's silicon produced roughly 20% higher peak graphics output in heavy games using advanced rendering methods. It additionally reached about 5% higher output in standard high-end 3D gaming evaluations. Specific figures, including real frame rates and gaming environments, remain unreleased.

New 2nm Manufacturing Process

The Exynos 2700 will likely use Samsung Foundry's second-generation 2nm fabrication method, called SF2P. Samsung is additionally upgrading its Heat Path Block packaging method to control heat better and sustain higher performance. This upcoming processor replaces the Exynos 2600, which currently runs certain Galaxy S26 versions and the Galaxy Z Flip8.

Expected Galaxy S27 Launch

Samsung plans to debut the Exynos 2700 alongside select Galaxy S27 units during early 2027. Still, people should view these performance numbers with caution since they originate from internal trials. Independent testing on commercial Galaxy S27 units is required to verify if the Exynos 2700 keeps its reported performance edge over Qualcomm's newest processors. Its real battery efficiency, thermal control, and sustained gaming capabilities are still unconfirmed.
