The Ministry of Finance stated to the National Assembly that the State Bank of Pakistan relies on children facing hearing and speech disabilities to hold draws for Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 40,000 denomination prize bonds, keeping the entire process transparent.

During Question Hour, the ministry filed a written reply outlining how the State Bank organizes these prize bond draws.

These youths handle every draw for the Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 40,000 denomination prize bonds, while also reading out the winning numbers and managing the recording procedures while the draws take place, based on the ministry statement.

A committee composed of seven members oversees the prize bond draws to guarantee transparency throughout the method, the ministry mentioned.

The ministry also noted that citizens trust the current system for running prize bond draws, pointing out that authorities received zero complaints about the procedure.

These facts reached the National Assembly as a direct reply to an inquiry focusing on the transparency and methods behind State Bank prize bond draws.
