Authorities in Punjab cleared the recruitment of over 149 personnel across three distinct government bodies, namely the Youth Affairs and Sports Department, the Special Branch, and the Provincial Intelligence Fusion and Threat Assessment Centre.

Media reports indicate that officials established 70 fresh positions within the Project Management Unit of the Youth Affairs and Sports Department.

Administrators also cleared 79 jobs for the Provincial Intelligence Fusion and Threat Assessment Centre alongside new hiring for the intelligence cadre of the Special Branch.

Additional personnel joining the Intelligence Fusion Centre should enhance data sharing and cooperation between various entities, while boosting threat detection, analysis, and response capabilities.

New personnel inside the Special Branch will aid field observation and data collection, with the extra workforce helping preserve public order and stop illegal acts.

Within the Youth Affairs and Sports Department, new PMU positions aim to better oversee, manage, and execute athletic initiatives.
