A technical failure in the Federal Investigation Agency immigration system halted passenger clearance at airports across Pakistan, leaving travellers stuck in lengthy lines. Airport personnel stated that the malfunction, which started at Jinnah International Airport, temporarily stopped clearance procedures for people travelling. The agency immigration network remains non-functional at every airport nationwide.

As booths cannot process individuals, lines kept expanding within immigration zones. Staff reported that the halt generated heavy delays for both incoming and outgoing travellers.

Insiders mentioned that this is not the initial occurrence of such a breakdown. The agency system previously stopped working at Jinnah International Airport two weeks prior. Authorities provided no schedule for bringing the system back online.
