England Under-15s rushed to shield a match official during a World Cup and Festival fixture against Bolivia after a controversial penalty was awarded in the final moments of the game on the pitch.
The Young Lions received the disputed penalty right at the end of the contest. The Bolivia goalkeeper walked to the left side and declined to try stopping the shot as the No. 11 prepared to take it. The England player simply rolled the ball into the open goal to secure a 3-2 advantage for the nation.

That play turned out to be the final action of the fixture, as the official blew for full-time moments later. Several Bolivia players sprinted toward the referee to challenge him while the Young Lions began celebrating.
England players halted their celebrations once they noticed the confrontation. They sprinted to the middle of the field, and certain individuals appeared to try shielding the referee. A brawl broke out involving both squads and staff members while the official walked away by himself.
Fifa did not comment on the event immediately, though SunSport learned that the global governing body requested formal reports from the match officials and both participating teams prior to releasing any updates. The FA also chose not to comment.
The incident occurred four days after England walked off the field due to an alleged racist remark during a fixture against Ireland. Young Lions manager Matt Thorpe pulled his squad off the pitch during the 40th minute of that Monday match. An England team member stated that an adversary directed a racist remark at him, and Fifa subsequently stated that an investigation was underway.
