Smartphone manufacturer Oppo announced officially on its Weibo account that the Reno17 series will debut in China next month following multiple leaks, though a precise release date remains unannounced while online pre-reservations open.

Alongside the Reno17 phones, two additional gadgets are arriving from the brand, namely the Watch 5 smartwatch and the Pad Air 6 tablet, both of which are currently open for pre-reservation across China.

Leaks indicate the Reno17 family contains two distinct models, the standard Reno17 and the Reno17 Pro, with the base variant reportedly housing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and the Pro version potentially using a MediaTek Dimensity 8550 SoC.

Speculation points to the Reno17 Pro carrying a 6.32-inch OLED screen, a 200MP main rear camera, and a 7,000mAh battery unit.

Both handsets are anticipated to operate on Android 17 underneath Oppo ColorOS 17 software, although the manufacturer has kept official hardware specifications under wraps until further information appears near the actual debut.
