A residential community covering roughly 750 kanals along Multan Road in Lahore will be built after the Federal Government Employees Housing Authority finalized a memorandum of understanding with Smart City Housing Lahore.
Captain (Retd.) Zafar Iqbal, Director General of the housing authority, witnessed the signing ceremony. Faiz Umar, Director Joint Venture, executed the pact for the authority, and Sardar Adil Umar acted for Smart City Housing Lahore.
Construction will follow an End-Product/Turnkey Model, requiring the private partner to finish and hand over the development based on established specifications.
Smart City Housing Lahore holds approval from the LDA and sits close to Bahria Enclave along Multan Road.
During the event, Zafar Iqbal stated that the collaboration increases residential choices for federal government employees based in Lahore.
Future expansion remains possible if more appropriate land is secured, opening the scheme to additional qualified workers, he mentioned.
Zafar Iqbal mentioned that the authority pursues residential developments nationwide by collaborating with private builders.
These partnerships let the organization use private industry skills and assets, enhancing construction speed and raising residential options for federal staff and other qualified participants, he stated.
