Pakistan International Airlines intends to bring four planes into its fleet in order to grow its operations and restart services on more routes.

Osama Sarwar, the Parliamentary Secretary for Defence, announced this strategy on Friday during a National Assembly meeting, detailing the anticipated schedule for the planes.

The initial aircraft will enter service on November 1, and the second plane will arrive at PIA on November 15, according to his statement. The airline will determine the routing for the second plane following its delivery.

Sarwar mentioned that another pair of aircraft will arrive in January 2027 and start flying out of Karachi.

The growth of the fleet will allow PIA to service additional routes, he explained, as the carrier proceeds with rebuilding its international flight network, which includes flights to the United Kingdom.
