Telltale Games is bringing players back to Fabletown as the studio officially confirmed that The Wolf Among Us Remastered will launch in just two days on October 29, 2026. Fans of the iconic 2013 mystery game can experience the story with an enhanced edition that packages all five original episodes alongside gameplay and visual improvements.

Massive Visual Upgrades and Deleted Scenes

The developers completely rebuilt every character from scratch into high-resolution models rather than simply upscaling old graphics. The remaster also includes improved lighting, fine-tuned animations, and upgraded environments. Bigby Wolf, the protagonist, received a terrifying visual redesign for his werewolf form.

Telltale Games introduced a brand-new Noir Mode that lets players experience the entire interactive thriller in black-and-white. Players can toggle between the standard look and Noir Mode at any time during a playthrough.

The studio restored playable deleted scenes left out of the original 2013 release. Fans also gain access to behind-the-scenes content featuring developer commentary, early concept art, and team interviews.

Platform Availability and Nintendo Switch Delay

The Wolf Among Us Remastered arrives on modern hardware this Thursday. Players can buy the game on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.

Nintendo Switch owners must wait longer, as Telltale Games confirmed a Switch version is in development but recently delayed the port without providing a new release window.

The Wait For The Wolf Among Us 2

This remaster acts as a primer for the sequel. Telltale Games faced severe development hurdles over the past decade, including massive layoffs in 2018 and 2023 that caused fans to lose hope.

Telltale Games resurrected the project and debuted a new trailer for The Wolf Among Us 2 at Summer Game Fest in June 2026, locking in a release window for 2027. Details remain scarce, but players expect updates during The Game Awards on December 10, 2026.
