Xiaomi released the Redmi Clip Neo wireless earbuds featuring a clip-on style, AI calling capabilities, and a battery life reaching up to 32 hours in China. These earphones debuted beside the Redmi K100 smartphone, providing a lower-cost option compared to the first clip-on model released by Xiaomi in May. Priced at roughly $60, the Redmi Clip Neo is sold in Pearl White and Zero Black.

Design and Comfort

The Redmi Clip Neo fastens around the outer ear instead of sitting inside the ear canal, using a 0.6mm flexible titanium memory wire to hold the earbuds firmly. Xiaomi reports that this wire endured 25,000 bending tests for strength, while skin-friendly silicone covers the surfaces touching the ears for better comfort during long listening sessions. Each individual earbud has a weight of only 5.3g for a lightweight build. Xiaomi also partnered with CryingCenter to release a limited version featuring a branded carrying pouch, stickers, and a unique gift box.

Audio and AI Features

Equipped with 12mm speakers and a dual-magnetic structure, the Redmi Clip Neo delivers audio enhancement. Xiaomi states the speaker setup boosts volume by as much as 40 percent. A diamond coating on the speaker diaphragm improves how fast the speakers react to audio shifts. For phone conversations, two microphones paired with AI-driven noise reduction cut down background sounds. This noise reduction functions only during calls and lacks active noise cancellation for music playback. Listeners can modify audio via a 10-band equalizer containing four presets along with custom options.

Controls and Connectivity

Physical buttons are built into each earbud on the Redmi Clip Neo. One press stops or starts playback, two presses move to the following track, and three presses go back to the previous track. Pressing and holding the button triggers an AI assistant compatible with both iPhones and Android phones, according to Xiaomi. Multipoint connectivity is supported, enabling users to link with multiple devices, and opening the charging case triggers a fast connection.

Battery and Pricing

A single charge delivers up to seven hours of playback for the Redmi Clip Neo, while the charging case extends the combined battery life to 32 hours. Buyers in China can purchase the earbuds through the official online store of Xiaomi for about $60, while the limited version costs around $67. The original Clip-on earbuds from Xiaomi debuted at approximately $120, pricing the Redmi Clip Neo at roughly half that amount. Xiaomi has not shared details regarding international sales for these new earbuds.
