Apple rolled out a significant update for Creator Studio, a subscription package combining video editing, music creation, photo tools, and office software. Artificial intelligence assistants are coming to Logic Pro, Keynote, Pages, and Numbers, while Final Cut Pro, Motion, and Pixelmator Pro receive fresh editing functions. Creator Studio debuted in January 2026, and the corporation calls this release its largest upgrade yet. These capabilities launch in November and cost nothing extra for current subscribers.

Final Cut Pro Gets Thousands of New Effects

Final Cut Pro for Mac now incorporates MotionVFX, granting video editors access to thousands of templates, graphics, titles, transitions, and visual effects. The integration brings utilities for tracking moving objects, correcting colors, and erasing backgrounds around people or items. Apple integrated its Content Hub into Final Cut Pro to supply a library of stock videos, pictures, and backdrops. Creators can open images from video projects directly inside Pixelmator Pro, with any modifications syncing back to the main project automatically. The software also handles text-to-image generation, extra animation controls, and increased placement freedom on the timeline.

Apple added support for 23 additional transcription languages as well. Motion gains comparable MotionVFX functions, featuring three-dimensional camera tracking, color grading, artificial intelligence image generation, and a fresh Displacement filter. Compressor now handles the encoding of Cinematic mode clips filmed on the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone Duo.

Pixelmator Pro Gets AI Image Editing

Apple unveiled a new Generate Fill utility within Pixelmator Pro. This function lets people highlight a section of a picture and describe desired alterations using plain text. Individuals can select a region and instruct the program to insert or swap an item. The artificial intelligence automatically calibrates lighting, perspective, and textures so the edited zone blends with the surrounding photograph. Apple also embedded Super Resolution technology to boost the clarity of generated output. Creators can place modified components onto separate layers to keep working on them.

Logic Pro Adds an AI Music Assistant

Logic Pro for Mac and iPad received a refreshed layout using Apple's Liquid Glass aesthetic. On Mac, Apple is deploying a beta artificial intelligence assistant driven by internal models and third-party technology. The helper assists users in starting a track, configuring vocal tracks via text prompts, and editing active music projects. Logic Pro also features an updated Browser consolidating loops, instruments, and audio effects into one spot, including audio from Splice. A tool called Music Understanding automatically inspects and tags audio files to help find sounds matching existing tracks. Apple enhanced Stem Splitter too, letting users isolate, swap, and tweak individual drum components. Other additions include a Producer Pack crafted by 20-time Grammy winner Sergio George and Voice Memo Studio Sound, which cuts background noise and room acoustics on supported iPhones.

Pages, Keynote and Numbers Get AI Assistants

Apple is attaching artificial intelligence helpers to its office applications, fueled by Apple models and OpenAI technology. In Keynote, the assistant aids in building, enhancing, and animating slide decks. Pages users can direct the software to draft, rewrite, and restructure text files. Numbers gains artificial intelligence tools for math, data organization, table creation, chart generation, and layout recommendations. All three programs will also accept Model Context Protocol, permitting compatible external artificial intelligence agents to read files, execute edits, and run automated processes. Apple is supplying stock clips, templates, and themes to these programs as well. Keynote gains an open file format named Keynote Interchange Format using JSON.

Freeform Also Gets New Features

The Freeform application gains more layout choices, such as text styles and custom background shades for boards. Apple plans to embed Pixelmator Pro photo editing straight into Freeform in December. Users will also have the ability to create editable shapes from text prompts.

Pricing and Availability

Apple Creator Studio costs $12.99 per month or $129 per year. New users get a one-month trial at no charge, whereas buyers of a new Mac or eligible iPad receive three months free. College students and teachers pay $2.99 monthly or $29.99 annually. A single plan permits sharing with up to six family members via Family Sharing. The updates land on the App Store in November 2026 without extra fees for current members. However, the artificial intelligence helpers will initially support US English exclusively and demand devices compatible with Apple Intelligence. The Logic Pro helper requires macOS 27 Golden Gate, while the assistants inside Keynote, Pages, and Numbers need iOS 27, iPadOS 27, or macOS 27. Model Context Protocol support functions solely on Macs running macOS 27.
